In the second book in the series, we find Alyson Prescott as she tries to get used to her new life in a
small town making new friends. As Halloween approaches she is caught up in the
season helping out with decorations.
When two students of Seacliff High goes missing before
Halloween, the police believe they are just runaways and d not take much f
their disappearance. Alyson finds it
suspicious when things start going wrong with the Haunted Hayride and she and
some fellow students decide to campout to finish decorating.
But their campout turns strange as deal animal is found
hanging and someone gets hurt. Even
Alyson finds herself in a dangerous situation the next morning. Can she find a way out as she finds the
missing students or are they destined to die?
We learn more about Alyson and that she is still being
looking for. Another gripping read by
the author as we wait for the next book in the series.
