Willow Day has always struggle with money due to lack of it.  She learned to live a gypsy life when her mom died when she was young and her mom friend ended up raising her.  All she ever really wanted was a mattress to call her own.

Randolph Van Ayers III was raised with lots of money but there were strings attached to his lifestyle.  In order to inherit the family banking empire, he must systematically accomplish a set of goals.  His finally task is marriage on his thirty-third birthday and it must last a year.  When his so-called fiancée leaves him at the courthouse hours before the deadline, he faces that he will lose for the first time and a Van Ayers never loses.

When they run into each other, Randolph makes her an offer that she can not refuse.  Needing the money since her small holistic store is ready to be foreclosed and needing to take care of the woman who took care of her, she takes up his offer knowing it is temporary as she signs a contract.

As they spend more time with each other being married, they find themselves falling in love with each other.  Willow tries to fit into his world but things tend to go wrong.  Can these two different people be able to give what the other really needs?

It is a sweet story that we want them to be together despite everything.  Sometimes we need someone who sees beyond the usual.
